After months of waiting, the keys were finally delivered. I went up to the mirador that evening, and the sunset did not disappoint! I held the camera in portrait mode and took a four shot panorama.
Then a few minutes later, the sky became even more spectacular as the sun sank beneath the hill to the west, and shot rays of light through the clouds. I took another 4 shot panorama
It is not just being close to the lake that makes the view so nice, it is the well maintained, mostly tile roof houses below that add to the scene’s beauty. It has a very Mediterranean feel. The area is actually called Ribera de Chapala, and near the shore in these photos is the Monte Carlo hotel.
